WPC wall slats
Description: WPC wall slats are a building material for interior decoration that imitates natural wood.
Texture: smooth, imitation of wooden slats
The slats consist of the following layers:
The polymer layer protects against abrasions and minor mechanical damage, ensures long-term use, and UV protection helps prevent fading, keeping the color of the decorative layer rich, due to which the strip retains its original aesthetic appearance for a long time. Decorative layer: film with high-resolution color printing, which completely imitates the texture of natural materials, thanks to a clear and detailed image. WPC core layer: is a composite material that combines wood fibers (or chips) with polymer materials, which provides the material with strength, moisture resistance and resistance to environmental influences. Temperature range: from -50º to +80º C
Application: interior finishing works: decorating walls in all types of residential premises (kitchen, living room, children's room or bedroom, entrance area) and commercial premises (office premises, reception areas, shops, beauty salons or fitness centers), decorating furniture, doors and other flat surfaces.
Properties and advantages of the material:
Moisture resistance: WPC material has high resistance to moisture, does not swell or deform. Rot and Insect Resistant: Unlike wood, WPC is not susceptible to rot or attract insects. UV resistance: WPC wall panels retain their color and structure when exposed to UV radiation. Attractive appearance: the decorative layer imitates natural wood, which allows you to create stylish and aesthetic interiors, while reducing the use of pure wood. Ease of maintenance: WPC wall panels usually do not require complex maintenance. They do not require painting, treatment with antiseptics and formaldehyde, and retain their appearance for a long time. Calculation of the required amount of material:
Measure the length and height of the surface to be pasted. Multiply the length by the height of each surface in meters and add the results together to get the area. For example, after measuring you got:Wall length 3.2 m.Wall height 2.7 m.3.2*2.7 = 8.64 m² The resulting area must be divided by the area of one slat (152*3000= 0.456 m²) and rounded up: 8.64/0.456=18.95 rounded up to 19. During installation, waste may arise due to cutting of slats, so it is recommended to add 1-2 spare pieces to the calculation. Installation instructions:
Prepare the surface to which the slats will be attached. They can be installed on plastered walls, plasterboards and wood materials. If the wall is covered with wallpaper, we recommend removing it. Use a circular saw or jigsaw to cut the slats. You can attach the rail to the desired surface using mounting glue, preferably polyurethane or silicone based. Using the instructions, apply glue to the back of the rail, then install it on the desired surface. The slats can be assembled vertically or horizontally. In addition to mounting glue, you can use a construction stapler to secure them to the wall. The staples must be attached to the edge of the slat groove so that they are not visible. Materials required for installation:
level ruler circular saw/ jigsaw/grinder adhesive on silicone/polyurethane base pencil. Care recommendations: It is not advisable to use brushes and sponges with abrasive properties, detergents with a high concentration of alkalis or acids. To remove dirt, it is best to use soft textile or viscose napkins with gentle household chemicals.
