Puzzle floor - modular floor covering 600x600x10mm sand wood (MP14) SW-00000648

The modular floor covering "Puzzles" is modular slabs with cut-out locks that are easily joined together, forming a stable and durable covering. Key characteristics of the floor covering: softness and cushioning (thanks to the main material EVA), chemical and water resistance, wear resistance, thermal insulation and low weight. The locks are removable.
Size: 600x600x10 mm
Area: 1m²=2.7 puzzles
Weight of 1 puzzle: 250 g
Number of plugs: 2 pcs
Texture: relief, may have perforation
Material:
The puzzle floor covering consists of the following layers:
- The polymer layer protects against abrasions, minor mechanical damage, ensures durability of use, has anti-slip properties, is moisture-resistant and resistant to chemicals.
- A decorative layer with a high-resolution print that completely imitates the texture of natural materials thanks to a clear and detailed image.
- The main layer of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a thermoplastic polymer, its molecular structure is a polymer chain consisting of ethylene, due to which the material becomes flexible, and vinyl acetate, which gives the material thermoplastic properties. The composition also contains special antistatic additives and additives for the formation of a cellular structure, due to this structure the material acquires thermal insulation properties.
Temperature conditions: Resistant to temperatures from -50°C to +60°C depending on the content of vinyl acetate. If the temperature conditions are violated, the material may lose its elasticity.
Application:
It is intended for laying floor coverings in residential premises (entrance area, living room, bedroom or children's room, kitchen and bathroom), in commercial premises: kindergartens, children's play areas, schools, children's areas in public catering and public places, exhibitions and fairs, beauty salons, hotels, gyms and dance classes.
Properties and advantages of the material:
- Softness and Elasticity: the main material of the floor covering has high elasticity and softness, therefore, even with a standard thickness of 10 mm, the covering has a high rate of shock-absorbing properties to soften impacts.
- Chemical resistance: the coating is resistant to many chemicals, including weak acids, alkalis, oils and solvents, so it can be safely washed using household chemicals (without abrasive action).
- Water resistance: the puzzles are 100% water resistant, do not absorb moisture, do not swell or deform, which makes them suitable for use in humid environments. Due to their water resistance, they are resistant to the growth of microorganisms and the appearance of mold.
- Wide temperature range of use: puzzles can withstand temperatures from -50°C to +60°C, which allows them to be used near radiators or batteries.
- Antistatic properties: The EVA material and polymer coating contain antistatic additives, so the coating does not produce current and does not become electrified.
- Thermal and sound insulation: EVA puzzles are an effective insulator of heat and sound. This can be especially useful in children's rooms, where a comfortable temperature and noise reduction are important.
- Resistance to mechanical impacts and elasticity: A feature of the EVA material is the ability to quickly return to its original shape when moving oversized furniture, without leaving marks from the legs of tables, chairs and other light furniture or interior items.
- Ease of care: EVA tiles are easy to clean and wash, minor dirt can be easily cleaned even with a damp cloth. The puzzle floor surface can also be easily disassembled for ease of cleaning or further storage.
- Variety of prints: a wide range of puzzle colors will allow you to create an attractive interior or play space for children.
Calculation of the required amount of material:
- Measure the length and width of the surface to be covered.
- Multiply the length by the width of the surface in meters to get the area. For example, after measuring you got: Floor length 4.35m. Floor width 2.48m. 4.35*2.48 = 10.78 m² (this is the area of the entire floor surface)
- The resulting area must be divided by the area of one puzzle (600*600= 0.36) and rounded up: 10.78/0.36=29.94 rounded up to 30.
- During the installation process, waste may occur due to cutting the floor covering, so it is recommended to add 2-3 spare puzzles to the calculation.
Installation recommendations:
- No floor preparation: One of the main advantages of soft puzzle floors is the lack of need for special floor preparation for installing a new covering.
- Preparing the surface: Make sure the surface where the puzzles will be laid is clean and dry. Remove any sharp objects or obstacles, protrusions on the surface.
- Sorting Puzzles: Sort puzzles by color if they have different variations. Mark areas where certain colors or shapes should be placed if necessary.
- Starting the installation: Start at one edge of the room or surface to be covered. Lay out the puzzles, placing the edge puzzles first to define the outline of the area.
- Connecting the puzzles: Connect the puzzles using the locks on the edges of each tile. Make sure the puzzles are tightly connected to avoid unevenness in the flooring.
- Alignment: Check that all puzzles are aligned and level. Correct any unevenness in the puzzles to ensure a uniform surface and join the edges for a finished look. Puzzles can also be trimmed with a utility knife if necessary to fit the room or area.
