Description

SPC laminate is an innovative floor covering that combines strength and durability. The laminate is made of a polymer composite material including stone powders, PVC and stabilizers. Thanks to this combination of materials, SPC laminate is highly resistant to impact, abrasion and moisture, resulting in significant advantages over wood-based laminate.

Materials:

Laminate board consists of the following layers:

  1. UV coating is a layer that is applied to the surface of a laminate to protect against ultraviolet radiation. It helps prevent color fading and loss of shine when exposed to sunlight. Thanks to UV coating, the laminate retains its aesthetic appearance for a long time.
  2. The protective polymer layer is a coating that is resistant to abrasion, mechanical damage and moisture, it helps to increase the service life of the laminate, making it more durable and wear-resistant.
  3. The decorative layer is a high quality color print that is applied on top of the base layer and determines the appearance of the laminate. The layer includes a pattern that imitates natural materials (wood, marble, etc.) and texturing to create a feeling of touching the surface similar to natural material.
  4. The main layer of SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) is a composite polymer material, the main components of which include stone powder, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and stabilizers.

    5. Due to its special composition, SPC has high rigidity and strength, which makes it resistant to stress and mechanical damage. The material is also resistant to wide ranges of temperatures, moisture and chemicals.

Temperature range: from -50º to +45º C.

Service life: from 20 years and above, for the maximum service life of the SPC laminate, it is important to follow the recommendations for its installation and care.

Application: interior finishing work.

The flooring is suitable for the following types of premises:

  • residential premises (living room, children's or bedroom, entrance area);
  • a room with a high level of humidity (bathroom, kitchen, laundry);
  • commercial premises (offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, fitness centers and others);
  • commercial facilities with medium and high traffic (shopping centers, airports, hotels and other facilities with heavy traffic);
  • room with increased hygiene requirements (medical institutions, laboratories).

    • Properties and advantages of the material:

  • Moisture resistance. Due to the fact that the main layer of the laminate is made of a polymer composite material, it is not subject to deformation due to moisture. This makes it suitable for installation in bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms with high humidity levels.
  • Strength and wear resistance: SPC laminate has a high degree of wear resistance and durability. It is resistant to scratches, shocks and other mechanical impacts, making it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas.
  • Fire Resistant: SPC laminate has low flame retardant properties, low smoke and drip emission, meaning the material does not contribute to the spread of fire or sustain combustion after the source of fire has been removed.
  • Thermal conductivity: SPC laminate transfers heat well, so it can be used in rooms with underfloor heating systems.
  • Aesthetics and design versatility: SPC laminate is available in a wide range of designs that imitate various types of natural materials (such as wood, stone, marble and others) in a variety of colors and shades (from warm wooden shades to cool stone effects). This allows you to choose the appropriate style for any interior.
  • Easy installation: SPC laminated boards are equipped with a click-lock system, which makes their installation simple and quick, without fixing the laminate to the surface. This allows you to save on labor costs and time when laying the floor.
  • Easy to maintain: SPC laminate does not require special care. To clean it, just wipe it with a damp cloth or viscose napkin and use regular detergents.
  • Environmentally friendly: SPC laminate is produced without the use of formaldehyde, lead and other harmful substances hazardous to health. Recoverable and recyclable materials are used for production.

    • Calculation of the required amount of material:

  • Measure the length and width of the room.
  • Multiply the length by the width in meters to get the area. For example, after measurements you received: Floor length 5.6 m. Floor width 3.2 m.5.6*3.2 = 17.92 m²
  • The resulting area must be divided by the area of one laminate board (185 * 1220/1000000 = 0.22 m²) and rounded up: 17.92 / 0.22 = 81.45 rounded to 82 pcs.
  • To take into account losses when installing laminate due to trimming and reserves for future use, it is recommended to add to the calculation from 5% to 10% of the total area: 82 * 1.05 = 86.1 rounded to 87 pcs.

    • Installation instructions:

  • Acclimatization of the material. Before installing SPC laminate must be acclimatized for 48 hours at a temperature of at least 18°C. Place the panels (without removing them from the original packaging) in the room for which they are intended. This step is important to avoid potential problems associated with changes in the size and shape of the laminate due to humidity and temperature.
  • Surface preparation

    • For successful installation of SPC laminate, the surface on which it will be installed must be: clean (free from dust, dirt, grease and other contaminants); smooth, without protruding particles, noticeable irregularities or cracks (if necessary, use putty or putty); dry; free from fungus and mold; without old covering (if there is old laminate, carpeting or other material on the floor, remove it).

  • Materials and tools required for installation:

    • SPC laminate, lining under the laminate, transition strips, saw for laminate or jigsaw, tape measure and pencil, level and square, hammer and tile cutter (or circular saw).

  • Conclusion:
    1. Unfold the lining over the entire area of the room, ensuring that the joints overlap. Secure the joints with tape.
    2. Before installation, check the laminate for defects. Eliminate strips with damage (depending on the defect, they can be used for cutting).
    3. Start laying the laminate in the corner of the room farthest from the door. It is recommended to lay laminate along the longest wall to visually increase the length of the room.
    4. Distribute the joints of the planks so that they are evenly distributed over the entire area. Use Click-lock to securely connect the planks.
    5. If necessary, trim the last plank of each row to fit the size of the room.
    6. Install thresholds at doors and at transition points between different types of flooring.
    7. Complete installation along the last wall using laminate cutting tools.
    8. After installation, walk along the floor and make sure that all planks are securely connected and there are no gaps or defects.

        9. ! Wear safety glasses and a face mask when cutting boards.
