The mat consists of the following layers:

  • Decorative layer of nappa fabric. Nappa fabric is made from synthetic fibers such as polyester or nylon. Nappa is highly durable, holds its shape well and retains its color for a long time, while the fabric is soft and has a pleasant texture to the touch.
  • Diatomaceous earth is a rock made from the remains of diatoms that has a high capacity to absorb water.
