Porous polypropylene (PPP) is a thermoplastic polymer, its structure includes repeating molecular units of propylene. It has a cellular structure, due to which it has good thermal insulation and low density, and therefore low weight. Porous polypropylene is also resistant to moisture and chemically inert. Double adhesive layer: non-toxic base with high adhesion. Protective silicone film – protects the adhesive layer from drying out and contamination, easily removed during installation. The main advantages of glass mosaic:
Easy installation: Thanks to the self-adhesive base, the mosaic is easy to install on any flat surface without the need for special tools. Strong fixation provides a stable fastening, which prevents the fragments from moving during installation. Water and heat resistance: Glass mosaic with adhesive backing is resistant to moisture and temperature changes, which makes it an ideal choice for bathrooms, kitchens and showers. The coating prevents the formation of mold, ensuring durability and safety for use in damp areas. Durability and wear resistance: Thanks to high-quality glass and innovative processing technology, each mosaic particle has high resistance to scratches and mechanical damage. It is not advisable to use brushes and sponges with abrasive properties, detergents with a high concentration of alkalis or acids, and the material does not tolerate water with a high salt content.
Calculation of the required amount of material:
Measure the length and height of the surface to be pasted. Multiply the length by the height of each surface in meters and add the results together to get the area. For example, after measuring you got: Wall length 2.2m. Wall height 0.8m. 2.2*0.8 = 1.76 m² The resulting area must be divided by the area of one tile (298x298 = 0.88) and rounded up: 1.76 / 0.088 = 20. During installation, waste may occur due to cutting tiles, so it is recommended to add 1-2 spare tiles to the calculation.
