The Mottura 54797TBSR54 MATIC front door lock is a 4-bolt lock with a latch and an auxiliary lock for a Euro cylinder. It is mortise, dual-system, semi-dependent, with three-way locking. The body and cover are made of steel. When closing with a cylinder lock, the deadbolt hole is covered by a special lever - a "curtain", preventing manipulation with lock picks and complicating vandalism. The main deadbolt lock: Deadbolt - four steel deadbolts with a diameter of 18 mm., Deadbolt projection - 40 mm, for four half-turns. Additional cylinder lock: one deadbolt with a diameter of 18 mm, deadbolt projection 20 mm. for two turns. Removal of the keyhole and the backset 63 mm. The latch can be unlocked with both the handle and the key. The lock can be right-handed or left-handed, this model is left-handed.

Model 54.797 MATIC has a one-time recoding system and is equipped with an assembly key. After recoding, the assembly key no longer fits this lock.

The Mottura 54797 mortise lock is equipped with new-generation keys with variable coding, which have independent left and right sides, since the distance between the opposite teeth changes from position to position. In this regard, the manipulation of the lock opening is significantly complicated: to determine the key coding, it is necessary to reproduce the changes of both sides of the key and decode the first and second turns; due to the asymmetry of the sides of the key, the number of code combinations increases many times.

The Mottura 54797 lock is equipped with 6 levers, among which there are levers that do not have springs. Also, the lever block is located closer to the inside of the lock, and the shank stand has a built-in carbide ball that prevents drilling. This circumstance significantly complicates the opening of the lock with pickaxes and other criminal methods. It is recommended to install a manganese plate for the lock and an armor plate for the cylinder mechanism.
