Mottura 54N897DP8RD54 front door lock is a 4-bolt lock with a latch and an auxiliary lock for a Euro cylinder. It is mortise, dual-system, semi-dependent, with three-way locking. The body and cover are made of steel. When closing on a cylinder lock, the deadbolt hole is covered by a special lever - a "curtain", preventing manipulation with lock picks and complicating vandalism. Main deadbolt lock: Deadbolt - four steel deadbolts with a diameter of 18 mm., Deadbolt projection - 40 mm, for four half-turns. Additional cylinder lock: one deadbolt with a diameter of 18 mm, deadbolt projection 20 mm. for two turns. Removing the keyhole and the backset handle (Backset) 63 mm. The latch is unlocked with both the handle and the key. The lock can be right-handed or left-handed, this model is right-handed. The replaceable mechanism uses the ANTIDECO system and an advanced lever system with traps in the form of teeth on the edges of the levers, which prevent the lock from being opened by pickaxes.

The trap mechanism consists of special teeth on the levers and slots in the shank, on which the set of levers is held. The principle of operation of the trap mechanism is that when you try to lift the levers with pickaxes and insert the bolts, the teeth on the levers fall into the slot on the shank and block the levers. Thus, opening the lock with a master key is practically impossible. The trap system also does not allow decoding the key profile using a vibration master key.
