Description

Mottura Basic mortise armor plate

The mortise armor plate is designed for installation on cylinder locks to protect cylinder mechanisms from attacks such as breaking, tearing, drilling and the like.

It is installed by fastening two screws directly to the lock. Or it is pulled through the lock with an internal plate. In this case, the threaded sleeves of the internal plate are cut so that they are pulled to the lock. Defender® basic protective plates have protective washers on the keyhole that protect the cylinder from drilling and knocking out. Steel spheres to protect the mounting screws. These plates can be used with most locks with a European cylinder mechanism.
