The key protection system is a patented solution, the profile and magnetic insert prevent its duplication. A key copy can be made exclusively at official Mottura service centers, after providing the owner's card, which is included in the kit. The C39 model is protected against drilling by high-quality, durable steel rods located in the cylinder body. Caps on the coded pins also protect them from drilling. Steel coded pins and counter pins, as well as the magnetic system, resist bumping and attempts to open the locking mechanism with master keys. When attempting to open the lock with a master key or another key, the cylinder system is blocked.

To prevent the cylinder from being knocked out or broken, the model features a controlled break system. The front part of the cylinder takes the impact and breaks along the line, blocking access to the cylinder, while the rest of the cylinder and pins remain fully functional and can still be opened with the master key.
