Carpet tiles consist of the following layers:

  • Nylon pile layer - consists of fibers that have high tensile strength, elasticity, resistance to moisture and stains.
  • PE foam is a polymer material that is resistant to moisture, has a porous structure, consisting of many small air bubbles. The foam also has high elasticity and elasticity, which allows it to return to its original shape after compression or deformation.
  • Foil layer: the main property of this layer is the reflection of heat waves, which allows minimizing heat losses, thereby improving the thermal insulation of the room.
  • Adhesive layer: non-toxic base with a high level of adhesion.
  • Protective film: protects the adhesive layer from drying out and getting dirty, and can be easily removed during installation.

    • Application: interior finishing work: decorating floors (possibly walls) in all types of residential premises (kitchen, living room, children's or bedroom, entrance area) and commercial premises (office premises, reception areas, shops, beauty salons or fitness centers, public places, workshops), as well as decorating furniture, doors and other flat surfaces.

The material fits into the joint, it can be cut with scissors or a mounting knife, it does not diverge between strips, does not swell or deform.

    • Calculation of the required amount of material:

  • Measure the length and width of the surface to be pasted.
  • Multiply the length by the width of the surface in meters and add up the results to get the area. For example, after measurements you received: Floor length 5.6 m Floor width 3.2 m 5.6 * 3.2 = 17.92 m²
  • The resulting area must be divided by the area of one carpet tile and rounded up:17.92/0.09 = 199 pcs. Taking into account the waste that may occur during the cutting and installation process, it is recommended to add at least 2-3 spare tiles into the calculation.

    • Installation instructions:

    Carpet tiles can be mounted on any surface - old linoleum, tiles, tiles, parquet, laminate.

    Surface requirements

    For successful installation of adhesive-based carpet tiles, the surface on which they will be installed must be:

  • clean (free from dust, dirt, grease and other contaminants);
  • smooth, without noticeable irregularities or cracks (if necessary, use putty or putty);
  • dry (moisture can affect the adhesive base and its adhesive properties);
  • heat, from 18ºС to 25ºС (for better adhesion of the adhesive layer to the surface);
  • free from fungus and mold;

    • Installation:

    It is necessary to make sure that the surface on which the tiles are to be glued meets the above requirements. There should be no drafts in the room during installation work.

    1. Gradually peel off the protective film on the back of the carpet tiles to expose the adhesive surface.
    2. It is necessary to start installation from one corner and carefully press the tile to the surface, ensuring that it is installed evenly and neatly, avoiding the formation of bubbles or wrinkles.
    3. The next tile should be placed edgewise to the joint with the glued strip, then proceed with installation.
    4. Tiles can be cut using a utility knife or scissors to adjust them to size, especially around the edges and corners of the surface.
