Vinyl tile in roll Vinyl self-adhesive tile in roll - decorative material for interior decoration, easy to install thanks to the adhesive base. It has various designs that imitate natural materials, suitable for various interior solutions.

Material: polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

Texture: smooth, imitating natural materials. Surface is glossy or slightly matte.

The tile consists of the following layers:

The polymer layer protects against abrasions and minor mechanical damage, ensures long-term use, and UV protection helps prevent fading, keeping the color rich, due to which the tile retains its original aesthetic appearance for a long time.

Decorative layer: film with high-resolution color printing, which completely imitates the texture of natural materials thanks to a clear and detailed image.

The main layer of foamed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a polymer consisting of long chains of vinyl chloride molecules, which contain chlorine atoms, which makes the material resistant to chemicals. PVC is an amorphous polymer, this structural feature makes it elastic and impact-resistant, and thanks to the stabilizer and softeners, the material is lightweight.

Foil layer: the main property of this layer is the reflection of heat waves, this allows to minimize heat loss, thereby improving the thermal insulation of the room.

Adhesive layer: non-toxic base with high adhesion level.

Protective film – protects the adhesive layer from drying out and contamination, easily removed during installation.

Temperature conditions: under the influence of high temperatures it can change shape. In the kitchen area near fire sources, the tiles should be installed at a distance of 30-50 cm.

Application: interior finishing works: decorating walls in all types of residential premises (kitchen, bathroom, living room, children's room or bedroom, entrance area) and commercial premises (office premises, reception areas, shops, beauty salons or fitness centers, public places, workshops), furniture, doors and other flat surfaces.

Properties and advantages of the material:

Easy installation: the self-adhesive layer makes the installation process quick and easy, without the need for additional glue, other materials or specialists. The material is laid end to end, it can be cut with scissors or a utility knife, it does not diverge, swell or deform between the strips. The percentage of cut is 1%, which is the best indicator for wall coverings;

Moisture resistance: vinyl tiles in rolls are moisture resistant, which makes them an excellent choice for bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms with high humidity, the material is also resistant to steam and mold. The tiles are suitable for creating a kitchen apron, can be glued near the stove at a distance of at least 30-50 cm;

Calculation of the required amount of material:

Measure the length and height of the surface to be pasted.

Multiply the length by the height of each surface in meters and add the results together to get the area. For example, after measuring you got:Wall length 4.35 m..Wall height 2.8 m.4.35*2.8 = 12.18 m²

The resulting area must be divided by the area of one roll (600*3000= 1.8) and rounded up: 12.18/1.8=6.76 rounded up to 7.

During installation, waste may occur due to trimming of rolls, so it is recommended to add at least 1 spare roll to the calculation.

Installation instructions:

Self-adhesive vinyl tiles in a roll can be glued to old linoleum, tiles, parquet, laminate, glass, paint, primed concrete with small irregularities and small potholes without special surface preparation, but if the surface has whitewash, then it is necessary to clean the surface.

The room during installation must be dry, the room air temperature from +15º to +20ºС.

You must ensure that the surface on which you are going to install the tiles is clean, dry and level. You must remove any dust, dirt or oil from the surface, level the surface with a primer if necessary and allow it to dry for at least 4 hours. The tiles and the surface must be at room temperature to ensure good adhesion of the adhesive base.

Gradually begin to remove the protective film from the back of the roll to expose the adhesive surface;

It is necessary to start installation from one corner and carefully press the tile onto the surface, ensuring that the tile is installed evenly and neatly, avoiding the formation of bubbles or wrinkles;

The tiles can be cut using a utility knife or scissors to fit them to size, especially around the edges and corners of the surface;

The tile should be pressed firmly onto the surface by hand or a rubber roller to ensure good adhesion between the tile and the base.
