Description

Vinyl flexible strip - decorative material for interior wall decoration, easy to install thanks to the adhesive base. It has different designs that imitate natural materials, suitable for different interior solutions.

The tile consists of the following layers:

The PVC protective layer protects against abrasions and minor mechanical damage, ensures durability of use, and UV protection helps prevent fading, keeping the color saturated, due to which the vinyl strip retains its original aesthetic appearance for a long time. Also, the PVC layer is resistant to chemicals, and due to the amorphous nature of the PVC crystal lattice, it is very elastic and has a low weight.

Decorative layer: film with high-resolution color printing, which completely imitates the texture of natural materials thanks to a clear and detailed image.

Foamed polyethylene (PE) is a polymer material with a closed-cell structure, lightweight and flexible, has excellent thermal insulation, sound insulation and shock-absorbing properties, and is resistant to moisture.

Foil layer: the main property of this layer is the reflection of heat waves, which allows minimizing heat loss, thereby improving the thermal insulation of the room.

Adhesive layer: non-toxic base with a high level of adhesion.

Protective film – protects the adhesive layer from drying out and contamination, easily removed during installation.

Temperature conditions: can be exposed to high temperatures. In the kitchen area near fire sources, the installation of vinyl slats should be carried out at a distance of 30-50 cm.

Calculation of the required amount of material:

Measure the length and height of the surface to be pasted.

Multiply the length by the height of each surface in meters and add the results together to get the area. For example, after measuring you got: Wall length 4.35m. Wall height 2.8m. 4.35*2.8 = 12.18 m²

The resulting area must be divided by the area of one rail, for example: (600*600= 0.36) and rounded up: 12.18 / 0.36 = 33.83 rounded up to 34.

During installation, waste may occur due to trimming of the battens, so it is recommended to add at least 1 batten (600x3000) or 2-3 (600x600) to the calculation.

Installation instructions:

Vinyl flexible strip can be glued to old tiles, glass, paint, primed concrete with small irregularities and small potholes without special surface preparation, but if the surface has whitewash, then it is necessary to clean the surface.

The room during installation must be dry, the air temperature in the room from +15º to +20ºС.

Make sure the surface you are going to install the vinyl strip on is clean, dry and level. Remove any dust, dirt or oil from the surface, prime the surface if necessary and let it dry for at least 4 hours. The vinyl strip and the surface should be at room temperature to ensure good adhesion of the adhesive base.

Gradually begin to remove the protective film on the back of the strip to reveal the adhesive surface;

It is necessary to start installation from one corner and carefully press the rail onto the surface, making sure that it is installed evenly and neatly, avoiding the formation of bubbles or wrinkles;

The vinyl strip can be cut using a utility knife or scissors to fit it to size, especially around the edges and corners of the surface;

The strip must be pressed firmly against the surface with your hand or a rubber roller to ensure good adhesion between it and the base.
